Cathy Wurzer
Cathy Wurzer is a familiar voice and face in the state of Minnesota.
She is the host of Morning Edition and Minnesota Now on Minnesota Public Radio News. She is also the co-host of Almanac, a weekly public affairs program produced by Twin Cities Public Television for Minnesota's statewide public television network. Wurzer has won four Emmy Awards for her work on Almanac.
Cathy is a 2023 inductee into the Minnesota Broadcaster’s Hall of Fame.
Outside of her broadcast journalism career, Cathy Wurzer is the founder of the End in Mind Project, a non-profit dedicated to empowering people to proactively prepare for death, so they are inspired to live a more fearless, intentional life today.
